Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe interjection in Minna no Nihongo Shokyuu I with pragmatic perspective. Kandoushi has a similiar form but multiple meanings and it became an obstacle for basic languange leaners. This research used descriptive method. The result of this research showed that kandoushi in Minna no Nihongo I can be used for greetings, showing gratitude, calling someone, showing emotion of surprise and answering question. Also, there were a bit more of kandoushi with aisatsugo form then the other form. So, aisatsugo in Japanese education is very important for students to learn.
