PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN AL-QURAN DENGAN METODE IQRA’ PADA PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI DI KELURAHAN KEBONJAYANTI

Abstract
The process of learning to read the Al-Qur’an there are several methods used in various Islamic Education institutions before the Iqra method, namely one of them is Bagdady's method. This method is also called the 'spell' method, originating from Baghdad during the reign of the Khalifah Banu Abasiyah, who is not known for certain. This method has almost one more century has developed evenly in the country. Based on changes in the use of methods in the process of learning to read the Koran, the author feels interested in conducting research to what extent the success of the Iqra method, especially if applied to Early Childhood in Kebon Jayanti. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, using secondary data types and using document study data collection techniques. Based on observations regarding the level of children's ability to read iqra shows the success of iqra learning programs in both Harapan Mekar PAUD and Tunas Bangsa Early Childhood Education. This success indirectly supports the Bandung City Government's program regarding eradicating the literacy of the Al-Qur'an.
