ANALISIS TOKOH DAN PENOKOHAN DALAM FILM “ALADDIN 2019” KARYA GUY RITCHIE

Abstract

This research analyzes the characters and characterizations in the movie entitled Aladdin 2019 directed by Guy Ritchie. The Movie Aladdin is a movie taken from Middle Eastern literature, namely the story of 1001 nights or commonly known as Arabian Night. The theory used in this study is a structural literary theory that aims to find out the characters and characterizations in the characters in the movie Aladdin 2019. This study also uses qualitative methods, qualitative methods are methods that use descriptive research in the form of words or writing in explaining the results from research. The results of this study indicate that the characters and characterizations in a film are one of the important intrinsic elements in the film, then allowing the audience to feel the feelings of the character. The author finds a variety of characters that have different characteristics in the movie Aladdin 2019, there are several characters who have protagonists and some have antagonists.
