https://journal.piksi.ac.id/index.php/proceedings/article/view/1792

Dasa Wisma is a community group comprising several families within a neighborhood (RT/RW) aimed at enhancing family welfare through various activities, including education, health, and economic empowerment. However, the reporting and data management processes for Dasa Wisma activities in Batununggal District, Bandung City, are currently conducted manually, resulting in prolonged processing times and susceptibility to errors. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based Dasa Wisma Reporting Information System (SIPEDAS) to facilitate and expedite reporting and data management more effectively and efficiently. SIPEDAS was developed using a system design methodology encompassing needs analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. With SIPEDAS, Dasa Wisma officers can digitally manage member data, activities, and reports. The system also features search and data recapitulation capabilities, which facilitate decision-making for stakeholders at the district level. The results of this study demonstrate that the utilization of a web-based SIPEDAS can enhance the efficiency and accuracy of Dasa Wisma activity reporting, while minimizing errors often encountered in manual systems. Consequently, this system is expected to serve as an innovative solution in Dasa Wisma reporting management and support community empowerment programs at the district level.
Candra Mecca SufyanaMuhammad Prakarsa Al Qadr SalehDiva Rachma Sumirat

2024-11-042024-11-04425971IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING METHOD IN A DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING THE BEST EMPLOYEE
https://journal.piksi.ac.id/index.php/proceedings/article/view/1855

The best and most qualified employees are a very valuable asset for the company. They can make various significant contributions, which have a positive impact on the Company's growth and sustainability. Therefor a decision support system is needed to be able to support this. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is used in decision making which is used to evaluate and compare various alternatives based on several criteria, especially in determining the best employees. In discussing the criteria for determining the best employees, there are 4 assessment categories, namely performance, skills and competence, initiative and creativity and cooperation and work ethics. Every employee must have these criteria. Determining the best employee is done by adding up the weights of the alternative rating categories in the assessment criteria. The largest value is the alternative result of selecting the best employee. So that through this method the selection of the best employees will be easier and more effective.
Rini KusumadiartiWilma Adji

2024-11-042024-11-04427279Smart Aquarium System: Water Change and Temperature Control with HC-SR04 and DS18B20 Sensors Based on IoT
https://journal.piksi.ac.id/index.php/proceedings/article/view/1857

The Internet of Things (IoT) is increasingly used in aquarium maintenance. This study develops a smart aquarium system for automating water changes and temperature control. The system uses the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to monitor water levels, with Pump 1 removing water to a depth of 20 cm and Pump 2 refilling up to 5 cm. Temperature control is managed by the DS18B20 sensor, using relays to activate the heater if the temperature drops below 22°C and the fan if it exceeds 30°C. The system is controlled via an IoT platform connected to a Telegram bot, with data displayed on an LCD screen. Testing results showed that the water level control system performed efficiently, with pumps responding within 5 seconds, maintaining consistent water levels. However, temperature control exhibited a 1-minute delay before activating the heater or fan, ensuring stable temperature regulation. This system successfully maintained water temperature between 22°C and 30°C during the testing period. In the future, the system could be enhanced by adding a photodiode sensor for water clarity, a pH sensor for water quality, and UV light control in the filter chamber to further optimize water conditions, making it a practical solution for long-term aquarium maintenance.
Fajar PratamaArdelia Rizky

2024-11-042024-11-04428091ROOM TEMPERATURE MONITORING AND EQUALIZATION SYSTEM USING SENSORS AND FAN
https://journal.piksi.ac.id/index.php/proceedings/article/view/1859

The temperature in a room can fluctuate, becoming either hot or cold depending on the heat generated by objects within the room. In a workspace, various hardware devices often emit heat suddenly, surpassing the standard room temperature. Due to the heavy workload of these devices, their performance can slow down as the temperature rises, making it uncomfortable for workers and difficult for them to concentrate. To address this, an automatic temperature equalization system needs to be implemented, monitored using a DHT11 sensor. The system operates using an Arduino Uno, DHT11 Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor, ESP-01, and a fan. This system, integrated with ESP-01, reads the DHT11 sensor to measure room humidity and temperature and sends the data to a website for mobile monitoring. The fan is used to distribute the air temperature for equalization. Testing results show that the system successfully balances the room temperature automatically.
Revito PahleviSeliwati
