PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI ADMINISTRASI INSTALASI GAWAT DARURAT DI RUMAH SAKIT DR. H. A. ROTINSULU

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and design an emergency department administrative information system with a case study at dr. H. A. Rotinsulu Hospital. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. While data collection tecniques used were by interviews, observations and completed by literature study which had related with the problems. The software development method used is prototype. From the research that has been done, there are factors that hinder the administrative information system of emergency installations because it still uses manual methods that are felt to be less effective and efficient so that there are often recording errors, lost data, and reporting delays. Therefore, in this study, an IGD administrative information system design was made using the Visual Studio 2010 programming language and Microsoft Access as the database. With this application as a means of processing administrative data, it is expected that the data processing process can run quickly and optimally.
