Abstract

This research focuses on the analysis and design of a web-based collaboration information system aimed at improving collaborative work efficiency within Politeknik Piksi Ganesha. This study addresses the challenges posed by traditional collaboration methods and proposes a digital solution to enhance collaboration effectiveness. By identifying the primay issues in the existing collaboration processes, this research formulates the appropriate approach to tackle these challenges. The system designed in this research leverages web-based technology and designed to provide a platform that can facilitate efficient communication, resource sharing, and task management among staff, student, and faculty. Through a carefull application of protoyping methods, this research successfully designs a user interface that integrates essential features according to collaboration management needs. Additionally, this research also design and implements various features within the software system to support document sharing, real-time communication, and accurate data completeness. This result of this research demonstrate a significant improvement in the efficiency of collaboration management through the designed web-based system. This research concludes that the developed web-based collaboration information system can enhance the efficiency of collaboration management processes at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha.
